It feels like it’s been a long time since we’ve talked, and these past few months, weeks, and days have been challenging.
Trying to keep the progress moving on our beautiful project has not been easy. We’ve made some amazing strides with repairs, updates, cleaning, and improvements, but the reality is that our funds have run low, and not much has been coming in.
It can be heartbreaking when you have a dream, a vision, and the determination to make it happen, but the finances simply don’t match the size of the vision.
Still, WE ARE NOT GIVING UP.
We are beyond grateful for every person who has supported us, donated, shared our journey, prayed for us, encouraged us, and believed in what we are building. We truly could not have made it this far without each and every one of you. Your love and support mean more to us than words can express.
Although this project is taking longer than we originally expected, the work continues!
PROJECT UPDATES:
• The entire downstairs has been cleaned out.
• The walls have been painted and are complete.
• The ceilings still need to be painted.
• The kitchen walls have been repaired.
• The kitchen flooring is complete.
• We purchased new black couches for the living room, and we are SO excited!
• The living room TV has been mounted, and it looks beautiful.
• The bathroom still needs to be designed and completed.
• Several rooms still need furniture, décor, and finishing touches.
Every completed room, repaired wall, piece of furniture, and small improvement brings us one step closer to seeing the full vision come to life.
Please continue to share our project, continue to donate if you are able, and most importantly, continue to keep us in your prayers.
We believe in this project. We believe in the vision. And no matter how long it takes, we are going to keep pushing until it is COMPLETE.
