BESME INSANI implemented a humanitarian nutrition project supporting 135 children suffering from malnutrition in northern Syria. The initiative forms part of the organization's ongoing efforts to protect vulnerable children and improve their health conditions amid the continuing humanitarian crisis caused by conflict and displacement.
Many children continue to suffer from inadequate nutrition due to limited access to balanced food and healthcare services. As a result, they face delayed physical development, weakened immunity, and increased vulnerability to illness. This project was designed to provide essential nutritional support and help children recover in a healthy and sustainable manner.
The intervention included the distribution of therapeutic food and nutritional supplements, accompanied by regular health monitoring carried out by specialized field teams. Families also received awareness sessions on child nutrition and healthy feeding practices to improve long-term outcomes.
BESME INSANI ensured that assistance reached the most vulnerable children through careful assessments and transparent implementation procedures, guaranteeing that resources were delivered where they were needed most.
The project contributed to improving the nutritional status of beneficiary children while reducing health risks associated with malnutrition. Parents expressed gratitude for the support, highlighting the positive changes they observed in their children's health and wellbeing.
Through its nutrition and health programs, BESME INSANI remains committed to protecting children's lives, promoting healthy development, and restoring hope for families affected by years of conflict.
