This has been a truly rewarding process! We are nearing completion for our projects both in Guatemala and Los Angeles! The youth have created bonds and professional relationships that will last long beyond the program, and they have led their own productions with guidance from professionals in the field!
We are screening our youth's productions from both Los Angeles and Guatemala at Boyle Heights Arts Conservatory in Los Angeles. We would love to count on your attendance next Friday August 5 at 7:30pm for the premiere of videos by youth in our summer program for media literacy and video production for social justice. It's been a powerful violence prevention and leadership development project. Please join us next Friday at Boyle Heights Arts Conservatory:
