We are delighted to share the remarkable progress of our Menstrual Health Management initiative in the Kathmandu valley, led by our dedicated Sarathis. Thanks to your continued support, Sarathis have played a pivotal role in conducting impactful workshops, extending beyond schools to engage with diverse communities and challenge menstrual health taboos.
The workshops, characterized by dedication and enthusiasm, cover essential topics, from the physiology of menstruation to social issues and the role of men in this natural process. Our Sarathis are actively debunking myths, fostering informed and supportive environments for young menstruators. In a bid for inclusivity, they have reached out to visually impaired students and orphanages, providing knowledge and resources for better menstrual health management.
Your financial support has been crucial in sustaining our efforts, covering transportation, lunch costs, and workshop materials for our dedicated Sarathis. In the recent period, 10 new Sarathis from Batch VI completed their Training of Trainers, seamlessly continuing the legacy of promoting menstrual health and empowering youth.
These new Sarathis have actively led and organized 14 school-based workshops till date, carrying forward the impact of their predecessors. Their commitment has reached over 400 adolescents in the Kathmandu valley.
Your continuous support, as donors, supporters, and volunteers, remains the backbone of our success. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to each one of you for being an integral part of this journey. Your generosity and dedication empower us to transform the lives of young individuals, fostering a community that embraces knowledge, equality, and empowerment. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to our cause.
