Our Sarathis who were trained on ‘Menstrual Health Management’ have been continuing conducting workshops at their full fledge. The workshops are being conducted in different schools across Kathmandu valley among adolescents. Within the past time period, they have also reached the schools outside the capital across Nepal. They have been covering the topic from Anatomy to Physiology to social topics like Role of Men in menstruation, busting the myths around menstruation and also examining infrastructure for Menstrual Health Friendly School.
With the received funds, we have been providing the transportation and lunch cost to our Sarathis who have been voluntarily contributing their time to work on this cause. The cost also covers the expenses of stationeries used during the workshops. It is because of the funds we receive, we’re being able to continue our activism, mobilize and empower the young people. Along with the workshops, they have also been sharing their experiences and thoughts on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Gender Equality through their blogs which is available in our website for a read.
With this kind and continuous support, Visible Impact team and our Sarathis are more motivated to work for the cause, raise awareness placing our youths at the forefront.
