With the additional fund received within the past months, our volunteers conducted workshops on Menstrual Hygiene Management in government schools and among schools with blind students. The funds helped us support our volunteers in transportation, communication and other logistics required for the workshop itself.
The students who received the training were really thankful to our volunteers. They found the training fruitful and insightful as they gained new knowledge and information. The sessions helped raise awareness among the adolescents and the school teachers as well. The students also promised to pass on the gained information among their colleagues and peer groups.
Furthermore, Visible Impact with received donation is planning to include more volunteers and capacitate and train them soon on Menstrual Hygiene Management expanding ‘No Shame to Bleed’.
