No Shame to Bleed (NSTB)

Since its inception, Visible Impact has been advocating for safer and healthier menstruation by enhancing knowledge, skills and participation for both boys and girls. It also aims to advocate with the government for formulating and implementing policies to eliminate all forms of discrimination that occurs with girls and women during menstruation. Under the project, various schools based workshops on MHM, Youth activism; Research on Menstrual Health has been conducted in many districts across Nepal.

We started a fundraiser to support the project through GlobalGiving, where we attempt to raise USD 5000 to advocate for safer and healthier menstrual health. We have been able to raise 40 USD so far and we have already been able to start work with the fund raised.

What has already happened with the donation?

With the donation, we have mobilized our trained volunteers to conduct workshops among adolescent boys and girls. Information, communication and education materials have been upgraded and distributed among the workshop participants.

With the fund raised, Visible Impact was able to cover the expenses of travel and communication for our volunteers as well. Eventually, through the funds received, our volunteers will be able to continue conducting workshops, upgrade and distribute IEC materials as required, celebrate dedicated days and create awareness among general population as well.

Moreover, with the support received, Visible Impact will be able to capacitate more young people as trainers and advocates for Safer and Healthier Menstrual Health!
