Hello Supporters,
2024 has been a successful year for our solar projects, after 4 years working with the UK Government and developers from University of Oxford we tested a new style solar panel in Zimbabwe and after 9 months it has been a success!
These panels are new lightweight, resilliant and can be shared, Many farms, schools and clinics in Zimbabwe are in rural areas with no electricity and solar panels are very expensive. These panels can be shared between farms, schools and clinics making it more affordable.
1 panel costs around $350 and could power lights, irrigation pumps and fridges for the community, we are excited to start fundraising to bring these panels into production in Africa and we have appointed a team of professional volunteers working directly with our community members to launch this project.
Thanks,
