Dear donors:
May you receive a cordial greeting. First of all we would like to thank you once more for supporting generously our project, it means a lot to our foundation and we really appreciate it.
From the beginning we have kept you informed about our actions, our energies have been focused on becoming this project a wonderful reality, for the benefit of 320 children with limited economic resources in our underserved communities who do not have access to education due to the shortage of basic schools in our zone.
Despite our best efforts to solve the unexpected situations with the local municipality, unfortunately the local
authorities have not granted the land use permission yet, it is to say they have not authorized the construction of the school, apparently because of political interests.
Since we cannot predict the date of the starting of the construction of our school and due to the innumerable and urgent needs in our communities waiting to be served, we decided (with your consent) to close this project and take advantage of the available funds (raised thanks to your generosity) to develop another project that will positively impact the children in need of our communities too. Specifically we are planning to use the funds in an art project, which you will have all the details timely.
Please feel free to contact GlobalGiving directly in case of having any objections on the use of your donations in a
different project.
If you have any comments or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will try to respond as best we can.
Thank you very much for your patronage and understanding.
