At Fundación Un Nuevo Amanecer (Funduna) Babahoyo, we continue our activities for girls, boys, adolescents, and young people with disabilities. We moved to a new location with better infrastructure that opens new possibility to prepare small service-oriented projects.
There are 41 beneficiaries of clinical disability sessions broken down to these Disability Types: Intellectual (24); Physical (9); Language (1); Mental (2); Psychosocial (3); Psychological (1); Diagnostics (1)
We began pre-employment workshops for the disabled girls, boys, and young adolescents who have completed their clinical and therapy sessions. Currently we have 8 young people attending the pre-employment workshops between the ages of 23 and 46. There are 33 boys attending basic elementary school aged between 5 and 21.
