In Chicoana, more than 50% of head households haven´t finished primary education.
Poverty and exclusion are part of the environment where these children develop. Without role models and opportunities to escape this situation. Education and training are keys to breaking the cycle of poverty, as well as building social stability. Education still remains the key for empowering women. To accomplish this task, Fundación leer will train the teachers in the area of early literacy encouraging them and the families to get involved in their children's education.
Through this project, Fundación Leer expects that the institution will acquire autonomy to implement a program in this area with new resources and materials, and it will have female leaders trained in the field of early literacy, with the ability to support and advise families.
Your donation will allow us to be able to implement this project and impact on the life of children.
Please, help the children from Chicoana and be part of the change. We need you now!
