Happy New Year to you all! We are so grateful to have you as a part of our Wild For Life community, sharing our journey to help save and protect at-risk horses and burros in need.
At Wild For Life Foundation (WFLF), we witness 100’s of transformations that are made possible by thoughtful donations from caring people like you! The story of Kayla stands testimony to your compassion and kindness, and the work your support enables us to do.
Kayla had lost her freedom and her home on the open range where she fell victim to one of the most brutal Navajo Government roundups in history. She survived the roundups while in foal (pregnant), only to become destined for horrific slaughter. However, through your kind and generous donations, we were able to save Kayla together with over a dozen other roundup victims and welcome them into our sanctuary. Kayla gave birth to a beautiful little filly a few months after her arrival and she and her daughter have since become permanent members of our wild horse family! (See Kayla's photos below)
The Navajo Horses Rescue & Recovery Mission (NHRRM) fills an immediate need to care for animals like Kayla that would otherwise suffer inhumane treatment and advocates for their protection.
Our rescue and crisis assistance missions have saved hundreds of horses and burros over the years—the majority of whom would likely have disappeared to slaughter if not for the meaningful support of devoted donors like you. We thank all our supporters for helping to make this possible. It takes all of us working together to assure America’s horses and burros receive the care and protection they need.
We rely on your generous donations to carry out our lifesaving mission. Your monthly donations help make it possible for us to provide horses like Kayla and her daughter with safe peaceful habitats, quality hay, and the health and veterinary care they need. Financial support is vital to help cover their basic needs which are absolute and ongoing for the lifespan of each rescued horse & burro. Without your support, horses like Kayla would have nowhere else to go.
The Navajo Horses Rescue & Recovery Mission (NHRRM) is a project under WFLF wild horse rescue & recovery mission that benefits rescued Navajo horses who depend on WFLF to survive and helps to raise awareness for the protection of all horses and burros from the torturous agony of slaughter. Their healing and triumph over roundups and slaughter in turn inspires goodwill, hope and compassion. You help make all this possible through this GlobalGiving project!
Our small dedicated all-volunteer crew is willing to do the hard work involved, but we are only able to succeed with your continued support. If you haven’t yet donated, you can help support this project with a gift in any amount and help by sharing this important update with your friends.
We at Wild for Life Foundation are grateful, every day, to the caring people who donate in support of our cause. We are an all-volunteer public benefit charity, and we rely 100% on tax deductible donations.
As always, we thank you for your kind support for this important project by the Wild For Life Foundation (WFLF), through GlobalGiving. It takes all of us working together to assure America’s horses and burros receive the care and protection they need.
Yours for the horses and burros in need,
Wild For Life Foundation (WFLF)
