The “One Dollar for Higher Education” project is a fundraising initiative spearheaded by the Naa Amerley Palm Education (NAPE) Foundation, to reach individuals and corporate bodies in the United States to support rural students in Ghana by donating $1 or more.
Our rural outreaches have demonstrated that there are several brilliant but financially challenged students in Ghana. We believe in giving more students in these areas and beyond an opportunity to embark on a journey that would transform their lives, communities and the country at large.
This year our goal is support at least twenty needy but brilliant students from the rural parts of Ghana. One of our beneficiaries, Charlotte, a level 200, Computerised Accounting student who hails from Drobo in the Brong Ahafo region has a dream to establish an ICT center in her village to promote the study of ICT.She believes in the power of giving back to her community and making a positive impact in the society at large.
What we ask that our friends and well wishers do is donate a minimum of $1.00 to support these students we identify. Together, we change and educate the next generation of ethical and excellent African Leaders.
Thank you to all our donors for supporting this initiative and for giving the less privileged an access to higher education.
