One hundred and twenty-eight (128) lives have been transformed since 2006 through the NAPE Foundation Scholarship Fund. This was achieved with the support of individuals around the world who believe in contributing to higher education in Ghana and supporting students to achieve their dreams. Our rural outreach has shown there are thousands of brilliant students who are unable to pursue tertiary education in Ghana. We believe with your support, we can support 20 more of these rural students .
On yearly basis, enrollment of students into higher educational institutions in Ghana becomes a daunting experience for the students and their parents. Nonetheless, this should not be the case since access to education should be a fundamental human right and more so owing to the fact that the survival and the ability of young individuals to survive and compete in the ever changing world rests on quality education.
It is for this reason that NAPE Foundation has dedicated its efforts to reaching out to the less privileged in society more of who reside in the rural areas of Ghana. Funds from this project would be scholarships to 20 needy but brilliant students in rural parts of Ghana in September 2017 to enable them contribute to the development of their communities and the country at large.
A hundred and twenty-eight (128) brilliant but financially challenged students have been sponsored since 2006. Most of these beneficiaries are children of low income earning farmers who are already struggling to make ends meet. Also, most of these students are the first generation college students from their communities. Our goal is to empower and educate more of such students who would go back to build their communities and transform the lives of other young people.
