On 16th December, 2017, Palm Institute held its 2nd Graduation Ceremony for the class of 2017. The theme centered on Building a Sustainable Liberal Arts Education in a Conducive Environment. Sixteen graduates were awarded diplomas in Business Administration, Computerized Accounting, and Banking Technology and Accounting. The graduation was attended by management, staff, faculty, board members, friends of Palm Institute and friends and family of those graduating.
The Founder, Rev. Dr. Okantey spoke to the graduates and encouraged them to strive towards meeting their goals with efficiency and effectiveness. He also highlighted Palm Institute’s major achievements since 2014, which included the start of construction of the first phase of Palm Institute’s permanent campus.
Mr. Sie was awarded the Founder’s Award which signifies the best overall student from the 2017 graduating class. He was presented with a new Dell laptop. Various other awards were presented to students based on their academic performance.
