This year's Mustaches in May campaign was a wonderful success raising just over $5,000 for The West Women's and Children’s Shelter for domestic violence survivors and their families. The funds raised have been used to support our annual trip to Rockaway Beach giving women and children the opportunity to have a restorative trip to the coast, sometimes for the first time ever. More than 50 women and children attended the trip this year, where they were able to reflect on their life, renew their commitment to living violence free, and restore their emotional well being. Getting respite from the violence, trauma, and stress of living in an emergency shelter is a true gift and we are very thankful for all of the donations provided through the Mustaches in May project!
