In continuation of our last report and project activities, the music for the environment team decided it will be good to continue working with the pupils of solution Centre primary school Limbe. This decision was due to the great impact and interest the last set of activities had on the children and their household. The activities plan for this last session was full of outdoors activities. The children were encouraged to preach the gospel of environmental protection and degradation to all not just to their families. The music for the environment team thought the children poems and songs as well as organized debate programs to push the children to do more research as well as findings on how to make the environment a safe place for us all. One of the most remarkable activities the pupils of this school got involved in was the talk show on one of the most popular television houses in the south west region of Cameroon. This talk show was held on Hi TV on one of our environmental programs known as “Keep it Green”. Some children from the Solution Centre School were invited to be guest speakers on the show. In the course of the show the pupils’ discussion was based on the following outline: What is an environment? What is environmental protection? Actions that destroy the environment What can be done to protect the environment? This show was a great success, the was lot of feedback and interactions from the public. In the course of the general public also partake in the program through messages which were either contributions or words of encouragement to the young pupil. At the end of this show, the pupils recite some of the poems and well as sang the chorus of one of the environmental songs they wrote. They encouraged other young people to join the crusade to preach environmental protection and preservation.
