MULTIART - Second Report

By Ailton Costa | Project Manager

The project aims to foster culture and promote personal and social transformations from the aesthetic experience, experienced through a program of activities with different artistic languages–visual, sound, performative, and scenic arts–which involve techniques of drawing and photography, visual audio, and music, dance, and drama.

The project was started with the own resources available and together with the School "Benedito Matarazzo" in the city of São José dos Campos. In this first phase, we started with the registration process of the interested parties and with the evaluation provided for the basic knowledge of the participants so that we can assemble the working classes in each modality.

Classes and workshops are being held at the Benedito Matarazzo school in the city of São José dos Campos in the space reserved by the school for our activities. In this space reserved the teachers have the freedom to plan and prepare the activities, applying the result of this work and even expanding their actions for new experiences with the group of participating students.

From the middle of December, students will be on school holidays and Alpha Lumen will seek to enable enough resources to subsidize the purchase of equipment for music and orchestra activities, as well as visual audio. They are musical instruments, and image editing and filming equipment that will provide students with a more complete experience.

During this first period of executions and activities, we have already received a visit from social investors concerned about the cause of the best education for these students and that in the future they will be able to invest directly in our projects.
