The project was unable to raise any funds through GlobalGiving and therefore it has been put on hold till future fundraising efforts. Though Movements.org has many online followers, many of the followers are not financially in a position to donate, and are instead in need of financial help. Due to out inability to crowdfund the neccessary budget to operate the platform, we have since put the project on hold and may be focusing on raising some seedfunding through private offline donations. The offline donations may enable Movements.org to launch more organizaed crowdfunding campaigns and create more appealing videos, which can improve our ability to crowdfund.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
