The fight for human rights requires human & financial resources that are often difficult to obtain. In many societies, human rights defenders often do not have access to lawyers, journalists, & media experts who can help publicize their case, mobilize the public, pressure the politicians, or defend them in courts. Therefore, many human right defenders or those who their rights are being violated are vulnerable to repression and can face harassment, harsh sentences, or even death. They need help.
Movements.org is a proven and established crowdsourcing platform that connects human right defenders or those who their rights is being violated to a global network of skilled pro bono providers who stand ready to commit their time and resources to help them fight for their rights. It'll give any user in any country access to resources that he or she could have not even imagined before. This level of access to resources and expertise can alleviate many difficulties in the fight for human rights.
