The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation grants comfort and hope to those affected by epilepsy through providing monitoring resources, vital information, and a safe haven for conversation and community. Our main goal is to raise awareness of SUDEP and to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and families living with epilepsy. We raise funds to provide education about SUDEP and to provide seizure response dog grants and movement monitors that help to protect against SUDEP. We stay up-to-date on current trends in medical technology in order to be able to provide the most effective devices as they become available. We respet the value and quality of life of every person living with epilepsy/seizures. We are dedicated to providing opportunities that allow individuals and families greater independence, increased confidence, ability to enjoy social environments, and community understanding.
The 6th Annual STOMP Out Epilepsy and SUDEP Awareness Walk/Run takes place in 9 different locations across the United States in September, 2015. Organized walks will take place in Colorado, Illinois, Virginia, Missouri (2), Texas, Kansas, California and Arkansas. The registration site is open!! Save money by registering before August 15th.

Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland Resort is quickly approaching. The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation is one of the founding co-hosts of this event. More than 1200 attended the expo last year that took place the day before. Fifty advocate groups provided information and resources to families from across the US. It was estimated that 1500 made a purple statement in the Disneyland Park on Epilepsy Awareness Day. The connections and friendships made last year are life-long!
Once again, CHF will be taking families with us to this event. We are accepting entry applications through 11:59 PM on July 15, 2015 and we will draw names on July 16, 2015. If you are interested in entering, please email us at ChelseasWish@aol.com for a form. For more information, please visit our
Facebook Event Page. If you would like to contribute to this project, please donate at
