By Julie Hutchison | President, Co-Founder and Chelsea's Mother
We are proud to state that The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation (CHF) has now provided 277 life-saving monitors across the United States. We've even had the privilege of providing 3 in Canada and even one in Australia. It is because of people like you who make this possible. We feel strongly that if we had known to be concerned and had a monitor in place, our sweet Chelsea might still be with us.
In addition, CHF just provided our 69th seizure-response dog grant. It is so amazing to watch these teams matched up and begin their journey together.
We have several individual microprojects on GlobalGiving to fulfill our seizure-response dog grant requests. You might find interesting to read about some of the individuals who are affected and what having a furry companion means to them.

On May 2nd, CHF will hold its 6th Annual Gala. This year's theme is "Comedy for Canines". If you are in the area and wish to attend, we would welcome you with opened arms. For more information, go to Comedy for Canines.
Save the Date for STOMP Out Epilepsy and SUDEP. This is a National awareness walk that will take place in at least 10 cities across the United States in September. More information will follow.
Here are a few photos of our most recent monitor recipients. We hope you enjoy.
Thank you again for your support! You are truly changing the lives of those who struggle with seizures!
