As a NGO, our mission is to sustainably improve the lives of those most in need. That's why we're committed to constructing a safe haven for girls aged 4 to 17 facing various forms of vulnerability, including family violence, sexual harassment, and poverty. Our aim with this initiative is to provide these girls with the security of shelter, access to nourishing meals, and educational opportunities that foster personal growth.
With approximately 500 abandoned children in Bogota and 454 reported vulnerable cases, our project collaborates with institutions like ICBF to combat these issues. We aim to offer shelter, education, and protection to vulnerable girls, addressing neglect, violence, harassment, and exposure to crimes. Fundacion Lideres Monarca aims to impact over a thousand lives in the next five years through comprehensive development programs.
Monarch Home (Hogar Monarca) shelters and empowers 100 girls, aged 4 to 17, through the "Monarch Leadership" program, emphasizing self-discovery and education in entrepreneurship and design thinking. Personalized support addresses trauma, fostering resilience in a nurturing environment for vulnerable girls to flourish.
The project aims to develop resilient young adults who contribute to society. Supporting Monarch Home nurtures growth and youth protection, instilling leadership and empowering around 150 girls aged 4 to 17 by 2029. It offers shelter, food, education, and fosters personal development, creating change agents capable of positively impacting society.
