March means different things to different people depending on the part of the world in which you live. In Houston, Texas – home base for Children’s Emergency Relief International (CERI) – March means respite from hostile heat, the coming of spring, and overall beautiful weather. In Moldova, March means the continuation of a cold, harsh winter with ongoing temperatures at or below freezing. While most in the U.S. will not worry about next year’s winter shoes until next year, we at CERI are already planning ahead! With 2011’s Winter Boot Mission behind us, it’s time to rev up for 2012!
Buying thousands of pairs of winter boots every single year is no easy task, and we couldn’t do it without you, our faithful supporters! Thank you for remembering us as we prepare for our 2012 Winter Boot Mission in Moldova next December. Your contributions are not only valuable to us; they’re life-changing to the children whose lives you’re investing in! Thank you for your generosity!
If you’re interested in joining CERI as we distribute winter boots to orphans throughout Moldova, please visit the “Missions” page of our website for more information (see link below). We literally put new socks and boots on the orphans ourselves!
