Since the last report, fundraising and project awareness activities have continued for the Mobile Healthcare for Women & Children in IDP Camp initiative. The project remains at the early fundraising stage, with the $70,000 total funding goal still outstanding and no additional donor or monthly donor contributions recorded during this reporting period. Financial support therefore remains the immediate priority.
The funds raised will be used to acquire and equip the mobile clinic, purchase essential medicines and diagnostic equipment, establish vaccine cold-chain capacity, and support staffing, fuel, and community outreach operations. While procurement has not yet commenced because the required funding has not been secured, project planning and donor outreach efforts are continuing.
Once sufficient funding is received, implementation will begin with the acquisition and outfitting of the mobile clinic, followed by scheduled healthcare visits to targeted IDP camps. The project remains focused on reaching 8,000 vulnerable women and children with antenatal care, immunizations, malaria treatment, basic medical services, and health education. Continued donor support is urgently needed to move the project from planning to direct healthcare delivery.
