Infant mortality rate is presently high. Seven out of every Ten deaths result from diseases such as Malaria, Severe Diarrhea and Upper Respiratory Tract infection. The high rate of deaths associated with these preventable diseases is now a major concern to all stakeholders in the villages in Northern Cross River.
With in the last three months we tried our possible best to reduced water and sanitation related diseases in Ogboja and raised awareness of good hygiene practices.
Effective and efficient hygiene promotion adopted in the community and
improved quality life.
We ensured full participation of all stakeholders in the provision of goods and services. They will be engaged to use their skills and professional expertise to provide extension services at community level by building the community.
Other sources of funding shall vigorously be pursued by our foundation to source funding to continue with the project activities in project communities and other communities in our project areas from now to next three months.
