First, we would like to thank you for your generous donation. The help you have provided was used along with the local VFW and AmVets to feed service members a holiday meal. We are excited to let you know that 100% of the funds we received has helped active duty service members and veterans from past and present wars that need a hot meal.
These brave men and women and their families do not have an easy time adjusting back to life in the states. We are seeing a number of issues like PTSD, depression, substance abuse, lack of affordable housing and homelessness, unemployment and many other issues that are causing even more stress in the lives of these soldiers and their families. Being able to put food on a family's table is a simple and cost-effective program that has touched the hearts of our military heroes.
