Celebrating Military Moms on Mother's Day
Mercy for Me and our generous donors are grateful to all the men and women that volunteered to join the armed services and commit to defending our freedoms home and abroad. Every person in the military goes through much sacrifice on our behalf and we cannot say thank you enough.
Many of our military heroes are mothers and because of your generous donations on this Mother’s Day we want to recognize all of them and give 10 moms a Mother's Day meal for them and their family.
Starting April 15th, children of military moms will be posting stories why their mom is their hero. You can go to our facebook page http://www.facebook.com/mercyformecharity and vote on the stories you like. You can also submit your own story about your mom, if she served in the military. The mothers in 10 stories that receive the most Likes will receive a Mother's Day meal for them and their family.
The most Likes will be determined at 12am EST on Friday, May 11, 2012. Gift certificate recipients will be announced on Facebook and GlobalGiving.
