Parents from the underprivileged sector are motivated to send their disabled child to school for two reasons, one to ensure that the child gets at least one good meal in a day, and two, the child is safe in the school environment leaving the parent/s free to go about their economic activity to earn bread for the family. However the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has defeated both purposes.  We hope and pray that this phase passes at the earliest allowing free movement of people in general and children in particular.
