Thanks to your steadfast support, Colectivo CARE has reached another important milestone—13,000 treatments provided to farmworkers and their families. This achievement is only possible because of compassionate supporters like you. Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to making this work possible.

Colectivo CARE was founded through a collaboration between Livity Rising, Integrative Healers Action Network, and Acupuncturists Without Borders. Now in our second three-year grant cycle, the program continues to evolve in response to the changing needs of the communities we serve.

This milestone has not come without challenges. Complex immigration policies and the process of securing stable clinic locations have required creativity, flexibility, and perseverance. Yet through it all, our partners have remained committed to ensuring that farmworkers and their families continue to have access to safe, welcoming, trauma-informed care.

Farmworkers face significant barriers to healthcare, including inadequate housing, limited access to insurance, and demanding working conditions—despite performing work that is essential to all of us. They produce one-third of the vegetables, two-thirds of the fruits and nuts, and 90% of the strawberries grown in California. Their contributions sustain our communities, making it all the more important that they have access to compassionate, accessible healthcare.

One of Colectivo CARE's greatest strengths has been its ability to adapt. By remaining flexible and responsive, our partners continue to bring healing services directly to the communities that need them most, ensuring care remains accessible even as circumstances change.

Reaching 13,000 treatments is more than a number—it represents thousands of opportunities for healing for individuals and families who are too often overlooked. It is a testament to what can be accomplished when partners, communities, and generous supporters come together with a shared commitment to care.
