Training on Menstruation Hygiene Management (MHM) was provided to women in Kalitar village in Chitwan district recently. This 2-days training also included topic on how to make proper sanitary pad.
“I know menstruation is a natural phenomenon. But I was not aware about menstrual hygiene and the nutrition that we should take. After attending this training, I have learnt what kind of food I should consume during my menstruation periods and what not to. Most important lesson I have learnt is to use properly made hygienic sanitary pads. Previously, we used old cloths from torn clothes”, says Ms. Jhuku, one of the participants.
Thank you.
