Interaction program on Menstrual Hygiene Management was held in Jhule village, Dolakha in May 2018. School students and members of local women groups participated. There were total 20 participants from
During the interaction, various issues related with menstruation (including proper menstruation hygiene management) were discussed. The participants were also taught how to make washable reusable sanitary pad at home.
The school principal later shared that after attending the interaction program, the female students have now started to share openly about menstruation issues. Many of them mentioned about starting to use the washable sanitary pad.
