Proper awareness regarding management of menstrual cycle is very crucial yet many do not know. It is because due to illiteracy and ignorance. In this initiative, we aim to give awareness to 500 women and girls who are residing in rural areas. Through this awareness training, we intend to change their behavior towards healthy habits. Hygiene kit will also be distributed among them. Your donations will help us bring healthy habits among rural communities.
In rural areas, many women and girls resort to unhealthy practices during their menstrual cycles, largely due to widespread illiteracy and entrenched poverty. This lack of education and economic instability exacerbates their vulnerability, leading to a myriad of reproductive health issues including Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs), Reproductive Tract Infections, Infertility, Long-term Health Consequences, Anemia and Malnutrition, Mental Health Issues, and Poor Academic and Economic Performance.
We aim to aware the 500 women and girls about menstrual health and hygiene and help mitigate issues related to reproductive health. Through training their behavior is expected to be changed to healthy practices. During the course, they would be provided training, hygiene kits, sanitary pads, safe drinking water, and livestock to sustain their healthy lifestyle. Basic health unit would be established at the main point of the 10 village which will provide them basic health facility.
The positive impact of this initiative would be significant including improved menstrual health, increased confidence, better health outcomes, economic empowerment, community engagement, reduced Stigma, improved quality of life. Trained women and girls will adapt health menstrual practices and in return they will train other women and girls. Through this initiative they will be safe from all the diseases concerning to their reproductive health.
