Progress report

By Afor Rene Aza'ah | Project leader

Dear Valued Supporters, Thank you for standing with us. Your support for our project Menstrual Health and Environmental Hygiene continues to bring hope to girls and communities across Cameroon working to overcome the challenges of menstrual health and hygiene.

We're excited to share a key milestone this quarter:

  • Four new schools in the North West Region have joined the project. This means more girls will soon have access to menstrual health education and improved sanitation facilities.

This quarter, our team welcomed four new schools into the project and met with school leaders to build partnerships. We visited these schools to assess current sanitation needs, connected with local leaders and parent groups to build community support, and grew our volunteer network for upcoming education and outreach activities.

Why it matters: Every month, more than 20 girls miss 3–5 days of school due to lack of menstrual products, facing stigma, health risks, and setbacks in their education in the Northwest. Each new school we engage brings us closer to changing that. With your continued support, we will launch education workshops and begin facility improvements at our new partner schools.

Thank you for believing in these girls and this mission.

With gratitude,

Afor Rene
