The activity focuses on strengthening public health, with a gender and human rights approach. It is currently working to guarantee the right to health of migrants in transit, returnees, asylum seekers and forced internally displaced persons (including unaccompanied children and adolescents); victims and survivors of gender-based violence; the population affected by food insecurity and malnutrition; and the population affected by climate emergencies.
We continue the work with communities to strengthen their mechanisms for preventing and responding to food insecurity and malnutrition crises.
We work in assotiation with other local organizations: Asociación Misioneros de San Carlos Scalabrinianos, Centros de Atención para Personas Migrantes y Refugiadas Esquipulas (ACNUR), Ministerio de Salud Pública y Asistencia Social, Ministerios del Organismo Ejecutivo, Procuraduría General de la Nación, Secretaría de Bienestar Social de la Presidencia de la República,
People of all ages and genders who need support due to the harsh conditions of immigration are our main beneficiaries, and we especially focus on children, not onlyto improve their health situation but also to make them feel well and protected in such a complicated situation, hoping that it does not affect their development to adulthood.
