Dear friends from GlobalGiving and the Tukuy Pacha Association:
Thanks to the financial support that we received through GlobalGiving in our previous projects, we are going to be able to provide to 87 children with disabilities medicines. Our hope is that they will be able to continue their treatment. In the María Cristina Alonso center many medicines are used because those who live there have different disabilities.
As you understand we are going to responded to a direct need of this children.
It is important to mention that all of them have been abandoned by their parents and now the government is responsible for them.
Without a doubt it is a very good job they do, but the problem arises when they do not have all the necessary resources to attend to children in all their needs. Unfortunately these children can not stop their medical treatments so this project will ensure that these continue
In the center María Cristina Alonso live children with different disabilities: physical, mental and mainly intellectual. For this reason, several types of medicines are needed to meet all the specific and general needs of this vulnerable population
We hope that this report will encourage you and other donors to support this initiative, This medicines can make a huge difference in these people's life, and will improve their quality of life.
Thank you for your support and trust.
