The House of Charity is a tax-exempt organization of USA, that provides Surgical & Medical care to improve the life and health of Children around the Globe. All services provided are free of charge & without any discrimination. In Pakistan, House of Charity has a goal to provide 100 surgical procedure to children suffering with severe burns & craniofacial deformities. These surgeries will not only save lives but also give children 2nd chance for leading a healthy normal life.
In Pakistan 1 person gets burnt every 5 minutes, either accidentally or non-accidentally? And that 75% of Burn Victims are children & youth! We are the only organization providing surgical and medical treatment to children & youth suffering with severe burns and craniofacial deformities. Currently we are able to provide 600 surgeries per year. We would like grow our capacity to help additional 100 patients at the total cost of $30,000 this breaks down to $300 per patient.
This project present firm commitment of providing high quality Surgical and Medical treatment and Rehabilitation to additional 100 children & youth suffering & struggling to live with burn & crainofacial deformities. The main goal is not only save lives but also ensure that these innocent victims of poverty become useful member of the society.
With $300 per child / youth we can reduce the burden of an invalid child/youth on society and economy and helping them grow into a self reliant healthy adult.
