2022 was a bit difficult but Madre de Amor Hospice Foundation was able to continue its programs and services to its clients. This was the last part of the year and we made sure their Christmas celebration was Merry and 2023 will be full of hope. Our gratitude to our donors, stakeholders and the hospice family, because of them,
Below were the services and activities given to them:
1. Continuous home visit by the medical team for health monitoring, pain control and symptom management and follow up via phone call
2. Social worker visit for psychosocial care
3. Day care services supported by volunteer
4. Participated in the World Hospice and Palliative Care with the theme "Healing Hearts and Communities". The experience of grief and the need to heal unites humans worldwide (thewhpca.org). It was attended by hundreds of students organized by Madre de Amor Hospice.
5. Provision of milk and diaper for the pediatric clients as well as the adult
6. Distribution of Christmas Food Packs to our clients for their noche buena
7. Conducted games during their Christmas Party at the hospice center which ave them joy and brought home game prizes.
8. Oxygen and nebulizer support for those who encountered difficulty of breathing
9. Bereavemenrt care for the bereaved families
