This project will give comfort to the seriously ill patients of Madre de Amor Hospice Foundation Inc in the Philippines who suffers difficulty of breathing; This will provide relief and help ease the pain and sufferings of more than 50 patients (average patients monthly) as well as their family. Persons diagnosed with chronic illnesses in the community will be able to access free palliative and hospice care.
This project will give comfort to the seriously-ill, disadvantaged patients of Madre de Amor Hospice Foundation in Laguna, Philippines, who suffers with shortness of breath. This will also provide relief and help ease the pain and sufferings of more than 50 patients (average number of patients monthly) as well as their family. Persons diagnosed with chronic or life threatening illnesses will be able to access the palliative and hospice care.
More than 50% of disadvantage patients of Madre de Amor Hospice Foundation suffering with shortness of breath has no access to oxygen or oxygen concentrator. The foundation has limited units and wanting to fill the gaps. This project will address the needs of patients for their comfort and to lessen sufferings.
This project will support the seriously-ill, disadvantaged patients by communicating to the foundation's personnel via FB messenger/page and mobile phone. This will also help the patients in need of hospice and palliative- on pain management and symptom control, provision of medicines and medical supplies with the help of the hospice team i.e., Doctors, nurse, social worker volunteers and other allied professionals
