Breathing, Healing @ Hospice

Madre de Amor Hospice Foundation's Breathing, Healing @ Hospice project makes a difference in the lives of our patients and their family.  For these months, we were able to do the following services:

• We visited our patients in their own home to check on their health status.  Our doctor consulted them via online method.
• We taught the family on the bedside care especially for patients that are already bedridden.
• We provided medicines, vitamins, supplies like diaper, underpads.
• We even initiated tidying up their home so that the members of the family will just continue and maintain it.
• For the still ambulatory patients ( the day care patient), we gave activities like lanyard making, session on self-care and provided them meals
• We also let them bring home food packs, rice, milk among others
• For children with cerebral palsy, we had a session with their mother on how to handle children with cerebral palsy and some home activities for them to learn how to really care and accept the children.
• We gave them also diaper, milk,mats and some colorful toys.
• We provide oxygen to patient
• We help also the bereaved family on letting go and the patients who passed on were able to achieve peace and dignity

Those are our services which we will continue as long as there are disadvantaged patients.  The family are very grateful on the assistance/ help that we proivde and thanks to the kind hearted people like you who are ready and willing to lend a hand through donations.  Your donation will really make a diffrence i the lives of our patients.
