A warm Hello to all our donors and well wishers,
It gives me great joy to write this project report. With all your help and generosity , we have managed to upgrade the medical facilities providing life saving care to all the animals that come with life threatening injuries and illnesses. The CARE OPD is now equipped with a Computed radiography machine, digital X ray processor and blood analyser. With these equipment , it saves precious time, that is life changing for the animals, most of whom are community stray animals. The goal is to provide veterinary care on par with any other private veterinary hospital to all stray animals irrespective of ownership status. Thanks to you, we are closer to that goal today.
Meanwhile, in the cattery, we were able to vaccinate all our kittens that came in the last few months, with most of them finding homes and their happy ever afters.
But the challenge is ongoing, as on an average, we receive 15-20 kittens every month from the streets of Bangalore. The immunity levels of these kittens is precariously low, with most of them being prone to feline viral infections. So in addition to the vaccinations, they also require supplements , in order to help them build this much needed immunity, that will give them a better chance at survival. These supplements like Lysine 100, Canigel, Viusid, are much needed and make a very visible difference in the health of these kittens. The cost of these supplements are about 8000 $ annually, and we hope to leave no stone unturned to provide these animals a better chance at life.
We thank all our donors and we hope to continue receiving your support in our endeavour of giving these animals a better life.
