Dear all,
This is to say, once again, thanks so much for your contribution to our GlobalGiving fund-raising drive in August. We made it well over the 50 contributors and $4000 targets they set for us (we've reached 84 and $6124), so we (MCC) become permanent "members" of GG.
We will use the $4700 targeted in our project for carrying it out, of course, and the additional funds will go toward regular school expenses - it will pay about 1.5 month's budget at MCC Kawangware - a huge bonus.
Thanks again for all your help, and we'll post updates about the school's progress on www.friendsmcc.org and www.mccentre.org periodically. We will probably launch a new project on GG soon as well, will keep you posted (though won't be so frantic next time!)
