Dear Action for Mothers and Children donors,

We thank you for believing in us and supporting our fundraising campaign ‘Maternal clothing line by marginalized women’ on As promised, we are sharing our quarterly updates and exciting news with you – we have officially launched the maternal clothing line!

We at ‘Action for Mothers and Children’ have accomplished quite a lot since you first donated to our campaign six months ago.

  1. We have launched the maternal clothing line with 10 different pieces;
  2. We have launched the line at an official public gathering at Besë studio on March 8;
  3. We have started selling pieces from our maternal clothing line;
  4. We are live on our social media sites;
  5. We have trained and hired 5 marginalized women to produce the maternal clothing line that has been launched;
  6. We have identified our facility for our long-term operations;
  7. On our third operating quarter, we are researching market opportunities and implementing our go-to-market strategy – getting our clothing line in physical stores in Kosovo as well.

About the maternal clothing line – BESExTESHAVESHA

BESExTESHAVESHA is a maternal clothing line that aims to fill the market gap while creating new job opportunities for marginalized women in Kosovo. The line will be sold at the second-hand shop ‘Teshavesha’, which is an established chain of charity shops in Kosovo, founded, operated and overseen by AMC. By having a direct selling point, we believe we will be able to create a sustainable social enterprise that will continue to create new job opportunities and address market needs in the fashion industry.

Our next steps

Moving on, we're looking at opportunities to get our lines to as many physical stores as possible, so that we are closer to the customer. On this report, you will be able to find some moments captured from our working and training facility with our hard working seamstresses. On our next quarterly report, we are looking forward to continue sharing individual stories form our beneficiaries and statistics of our collective positive impact.

Thank you for your kind and generous contribution!
