Warm greetings from Guatemala,
Last week Guatemala was hit with two powerful and shallow earthquakes and over 300 aftershocks.
There was fortunately only some loss of life and injuries, but more extensively, great damage to houses, churches, roads and other infrastructure.
The epicentre was less than 10 miles from our school and the town nearest was heavily damaged.
There is also some cracks in some of the walls of our school.
We are appealing for help to survey each of the homes of our 39 families to ensure they get any help they may need.
On Wednesday, July 16 there is a Match Day right here on GlobalGiving with all donations from $100-$1000 will be matched on a proportional basis.
Please consider supporting us in this hour of our need.
Mick Quinn and Debora Prieto, co-founders
And, all the Staff and 65 students of the Integral Heart Family School
in Antigua Guatemala.
