I always think it is so important for us to reflect back, especially as we head towards the end of another year.
The achievements of the children at our youth centre really is inspirational and so much of that is thanks to the support we recieve that helps us open doors to opportunities for them.
In South Africa, where we work, education is a vital driver of both social and economic progress. Every student deserves access to a supportive and well-equipped learning environment. Thanks to your contributions, all those we support remain in education. This even extends to higher education with our older youth forming part of our independent living programme.
It is has to be something that we celebrate. If we look at the African continent at large, you will find the highest out-of-school rate in the world, which has been steadily increasing over the past decade. We are glad to be helping to overturn such statistics through our work.
At our youth centre, we are proud for our investment and success rate when it comes to education. Proving that children in care can change the narrative and help share the future for the better.
