Education support for children in South Africa

How amazing it is to see doors opening for young people thanks for the support of those like yourself reading this update today!

We have just come through #MandelaMonth here in South Africa and it always warms our hearts when people come locally to our projects to also donate in kind...remembering of course that as well as providing the children and young people with educational development, as a residential youth centre ALL their needs must be met!

At times the needs can be wide ranging...from nutrition, to transport, to clothing and medical support, as well as ensuring the holistic wellbeing of each individual child through provision of therapeutic services.

But this all plays a role in our vision of seeing each child be able to achieve their FULL potential!

As we go on in this school term we have 12 educational establishments that we work with, tailored to the needs of that child or young person.

Of course this brings a lot of logistics in itself, but we are so grateful to those who can invest in us financially so we can provide the FULL support that is needed when it comes to school and education and see our kids flourish! It all goes a long way!

As part of #MandelaMonth our teenagers were invited to the Eduvos SA Nelson Mandela Bay Campus as part of a #MandelaDay outreach, experiencing the higher education opportunities on offer and being hosted by their team.

We want to share this as helping children to dream big and seeing what can be achieved is always part of Mandela's legacy.
