We are so thankful for your wonderful donations. A portion of the funds have procured plant sprouts and growing materials by the Maleku. Presently, Irene and her team have planted 100 young plants, anticipating their growth this spring and summer.

Notably, we are proud to be the first to explore tea cultivation within a tropical forest habitat.

Our two awesome interns from MUIH, Helen from Argentina and now California and Mariana from Puerto Rico, have provided a 50-page guide on growing medicinal herbs in the Maleku environment. This spring, these women along with MUIH faculty will collaborate with us to craft a business plan, seeking input from within the Maleku tribe and our broader community.

A sample plan will be available for review this summer.
