The project is taking shape.
The faculty at the Maryland University of Integrated Health are fully supporting our endeavors and we are creating a Memorandum of Understanding among the three parties, MUIH, Maleku Nation, and SoulGives. MUIH has assigned 3 graduate students to plan various aspects of the herbal development for their fall internships. They will be working on facets of bringing the herbal tea formuations to market in a regulatory compliant manner. These reports will be used to perform a full case study this coming spring and summer.
Soulgives is in cooperation with US government agencies and consultants regarding testing requirements for the teas.
SoulGives is also developing a base of volunteers in Costa Rica and the US to help on and offsite of the Maleku Tribal area when they are needed.
