Looking back on her teenage years, Andrea, now 28, said her Make-A-Wish experience changed her life. She said it brought her hope, opportunity and light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks to supporters like you, her wish to go to Paris, France, came true when she was 15 years old. Not only did she fulfill her dream to visit the Eiffel Tower, the wish trip allowed her family to be together again. Because she had to receive treatments in a city hundreds of miles away from home, she didn’t get to see her father or sister often. “For Make-A-Wish to plan this trip not only for myself, but for my entire family, was a wonderful surprise.”
Thanks to you, Andrea now has the opportunity to change the life of other children. She is now a mentor for children with cancer and will begin nursing school this summer.
