Make-A-Wish Oregon creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Make-A-Wish Oregon serves children ages 2 through 17 living in Oregon and Clark County, Washington, and who are deemed eligible for a wish by their doctor because they suffer from a critical illness. We have a strong commitment to granting a wish for every eligible child; unfortunately, the demand for wishes has outpaced our ability to grant them and we currently have an average of 200 kids awaiting the opportunity for their wish to come true.
Make-A-Wish Oregon strives to grant a wish to every eligible child in our area. Should our goal of raising $50,000 be achieved, it would greatly reduce the amount of time children are waiting for their wish to be granted.
Wishes are life-changing experiences for children with critical illnesses that often help in their healing process - because when they feel better, they get better. Wishes also benefit the whole community that shares in the wish process or activity that derives hope from a common purpose and enriches lives through the wish process.
